  1. In the last week the UK Government rejected a proposal to protect menopause under the equalities act for fear that it might discriminate against men. It also rejected the idea of 'menopause leave' stating that it might be counterproductive. #gender #age

  2. In a more positive move, the UK government proposed a law that will make it mandatory for businesses to offer mental health first training to staff, in hopes that warning signs of mental health issues might be spotted earlier. #mentalhealth

  3. Recent research suggests that managers tend to be kinder when giving feedback to women than men, based on the assumption that women are warmer than men, and that kind feedback is more constructive for them. #gender
