Diversity & Inclusion Snippets: 05.06.2023

  1. The World Economic Forum and 55 members of the Partnering for Racial Justice in Business Initiative have created a Global Racial and Ethnic Equity framework to give organisations a roadmap to approaching and addressing racial inequity at all levels through areas such as leadership commitment, work environment, recruitment, retention and development, technological fairness and more.

  2. One-size-fits-all in terms of the employee experience and the work environment stopped being effective a long time ago. "High turnover rates, presenteeism, and toxic work cultures are symptoms of a larger problem: the failure to accommodate individual needs," making personalisation, accessbility and inclusion extremely important to future-proof workforces.

  3. Harvard Business Review research identified three components as being the most important to the LGBTQIA+ community when it comes to allyship: being accepting, taking action, having humility.

  4. How to boost inclusion within your organisation? 3 small but impactful changes that can help. The third one in particular, is one that increasing numbers of organisations are adopting.
